Hello
Welcome to Reqisa, nice to meet you here.
I am Marion, the owner of Reqisa, and I work at the intersection of people, processes and mobility. With a wealth of experience in talent acquisition and human capital on a global scale, I am your business partner to optimise your talent operations and strategy.
My Story
With over two decades of experience across talent acquisition, executive search, HR leadership, and international recruitment, I’ve supported organisations through every stage of the talent journey — from defining workforce requirements to delivering long-term, sustainable placements. My career spans Australia, Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific, giving me a deep understanding of both local employment frameworks and global talent markets.
After more than a decade in search consultancies, I led Talent and HR functions within a high-growth technology consultancy, as it scaled nationally from 30 to more than 270 employees. This included end-to-end recruitment strategy, workforce planning, offshore team integration, and close collaboration with senior leadership to align people decisions with business outcomes. This role triggered my interest in migration as I managed sponsorship approvals, nominations, and visa applications to ensure continuity, compliance, and smooth onboarding.
I am now a Registered Migration Agent (MARN) graduating with honors in Migration Law from UTS, supported by a strong foundation in business law, labour law, human resources, and psychology. This combination allows me to approach migration not as a standalone service, but as part of a broader, well-designed talent and workforce strategy.
Fun Fact - my first visa was my own, applying for a prospective marriage for Australia - the rest is history.
Are you asking yourself if you need a Migration Agent?
My legal background led me to study migration law and register as an Australian Migration Agent. Prior to my formal studies, I had worked with visa matters; however, in hindsight, I recognise that processes could have been handled more effectively and efficiently.
Many people believe that everything is straightforward on the Department of Home Affairs website, or that assistance from tools such as ChatGPT and online resources is sufficient. While a great deal of information is publicly available, the non-obvious legal details and risks are often overlooked.
By law, all information provided in a visa application is the legal responsibility of the applicant, regardless of where that information originates. Even with extensive research, the time and effort invested may not always produce the best outcome. In comparison, the cost of obtaining sound, professional advice from a registered Australian Migration Agent is often minimal.
Only an Australian registered Migration Agent is regulated by the Australian Government and must comply with strict professional standards, ongoing education, and training requirements. Clients are encouraged to always verify registration through the OMARA public register, as a visa decision is one of the most important decisions you may make in your life.
